Project Coaching
Impact Up Project Coaching is aimed at project teams and leaders within projects. Ideally, you want to create impact with your project. We accompany you in planning a project and in regular check-ins during long projects, and just as much through a difficult change or a difficult project phase. We work systemically, which means we support you with your topics. We orient ourselves towards shared clarity of goals and clarity of roles in the project; to us, that is central for a well-functioning project. We make room for your impact.
What we bring to Project Coaching.
We developed this offer at Impact Up from our own resources. We bring the craft of participatory workshops: designing multi-day planning and reflection formats, developing outcomes and indicators together and planning activities from them, starting from what the organisation wants and needs. Added to that are coaching and individual support over longer periods, also through transitions and changes of staff, and the agreement with the leadership level, so that the work in the team stays connected to the goals of the organisation.
This competence grew in very different sectors: six years of Civil Peace Service in Cambodia with numerous planning workshops at nearly ten partner organisations – museum and memorial work (Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum), psychosocial services (TPO Cambodia), university (Royal University of Phnom Penh), youth and empowerment work with NGOs (Khmer Community Development, Youth Resource Development Program, Women Peace Makers and Kdei Karuna), through to the Victims Support Section of the Khmer Rouge Tribunal (ECCC). Every context had its own culture, and exactly from that comes the wide-ranging experience of supporting teams of very different character, also in other cultures, in finding their direction.
And we work systemically: with hypotheses instead of diagnoses, with impulses towards self-organisation and the trust that you yourselves, with support, can develop the best solutions, grounded in an ongoing training in systemic organisational development, continuous further development and good connections to networks.
Behind this stands Stefan's experience from more than 15 years in total of shaping and accompanying projects in peace work and in numerous social movements and organisations in Germany. Where it makes sense, we bring in further competencies from the network, in agreement with you. We also see ourselves as an organising actor. Whatever it is about, write to us.
