Integrating artificial intelligence (AI) at Impact Up does not simply mean building AI processes. We try to think about and use AI in a way that supports your impact. Here too we want to work systemically with you, even if that sounds unusual at first: integrating AI is also about your topics and about what exactly you want and need. In the end, AI only creates real value when you use it, and not when someone else uses it once on your behalf to automate your processes. Our focus here: ethical AI, and AI support so that your impact finds its way into the connected world a little better. We make room for your impact.
AI as a network and mirror of the good.
We developed this offer at Impact Up from an idea for the future. The idea: AI supports us humans in acting more ethically in this world, for a healthy ecosystem Earth, for peace and nonviolence, for social participation and for democracy. We start with people's topics and look at how we develop together in this positive direction, starting today: humans and machines advancing each other. The idea for the future creates the offer, yet the offer itself is real and starts today. Together with you, we look for ethical filters, produce data that ethical AIs need, and prepare data and knowledge from a positive world for AI. And of course this includes using AI in the everyday way, as agentic AI that takes on work in the background, while we take care from the start to advance this world meaningfully with it. This is exactly what we have been practising ourselves for a year, and we want to stay up to date with the latest developments in this field. Because according to Markus Gabriel, who calls it ethical intelligence, what will matter is that we show AI human goodness, in order to get exactly that back: AI as a mirror of our goodness.
The decisive question for us is less what these systems can do than what they bind themselves to. In an organisation that means concretely: to its language, its impact logic, its decision-making paths and its standards for what counts as good. That is exactly where we start: we want to support you in integrating AI into your work in such a way that it serves your impact and holds your standards.
For AI to bring us, your projects and your activities better into the connected world, what it needs above all are good foundations: documents that are machine-readable, knowledge ordered so that the machine can work with it, data from a positive world, and standards against which results can be checked. Building on that, AI can support networking: who needs what, who brings what, where collaboration can emerge. That is what we strive for together with you, while judgement, responsibility and the moment in the room stay with people. The competence behind this comes out of intensive practice of our own: building workflows with the newest models, ordering knowledge for the machine, and checking results against our own standards. This is how we work ourselves: what stands on these pages came into being in collaboration with artificial intelligence.
